About Department

BBA has been offered since 1989 and MA HRM since 2002. The department has designed balanced and contemporary course profile with courses on Service Marketing, Business Ethics, Green Management, and Event Management. The department provides updated knowledge through revised syllabus and practical exposure through in plant training and industrial visits. Managerial skills are imparted through activities of the “Young Executive Forum” and Workshops on “Creative Thinking and “Decision Making”. Many of our alumnae are placed in Arts and Scien Colleges, Engineering Colleges, Hospitals, Offices while few have become entrepreneurs.

Milestones

BBA is a three-year program in business administration. It is a much-sought after program that provides a holistic learning experience. It provides knowledge and experiential learning to carve out managers, entrepreneurs and business leaders. Around the year learning experience through workshops, a co- curricular and extra-curricular activity makes the program very intensive. The students gain knowledge about the functioning of various domains of business like HR, Finance, Marketing and Systems and learn to apply those concepts to provide the appropriate solutions for the challenges faced by businesses.

Business Administration Department Invited Lecture on Opportunities of Women Entrepreneurs in India. Women’s development has been considered the key to the overall development of the nation. The educated women do not want their lives to stay in the four walls of the house. They demand equal respect from their partners. Today in India with a growing population we want to take necessary steps to nurture entrepreneurship particularly women empowerment through entrepreneurship. In this process women need to realize their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to reach their potential in order to achieve their goals. Moreover, they want new opportunities for self-fulfilment. The opportunities provided to the women of the digital era are growing rapidly as job seekers are turning into creators.
