Journalism and Mass Communication

The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication was started in 2022. The department offers a Three-year B.A. course in Journalism and Mass Communication (B.A Journalism and Mass Communication), with the core areas being journalism, film studies, television, radio, short film, documentary, community media, and new media. Apart from relevant theoretical knowledge, this department relies heavily on practical training and regular internships. We also have excellent infrastructure and professionals to match contemporary media needs. We have an exclusive- dedicated media lab. With the rising popularity of media and media-related courses across the nation, and the immense opportunities in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication, this department is working hard to equip students with Knowledge and Technical Skills.

World Photography Day Celebration

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has Celebrated World Photography Day on 21.08.2023. Photography Competition conducted and the photos were Exhibited (IIC Activity) in TACW Campus.

 Topics: Nature, landscape, Architecture, Wild Life, Freezing the Moment
 Totally 92 students from ES group of Institutions have participated and exhibited their photos. Best photos awarded with shield and certificate.
 Chief Guest:- Mr.Pattabiraman, Photo Journalist, Pondicherry.
