Dr. E. SOUNDARA RAJAN,
Dr.E.Soundara Rajan, Deputy Registrar (Administration), E.S.S.K. Educational Charities, Villupuram contributed to the betterment of society by servicing more than 26 years in the Department of Commerce, A.V.C College (Autonomous), Mayiladuthurai, two and half years as Dean of Student Affairs, Theivanai Ammal College For Women (Autonomous), Villupuram and two years as Professor at Mohammed Sathak College of Arts and Science, Chennai. He was acted as NSS Programme officer, RRC Co-ordinator, IGNOU Co-ordinator, TNOU Co-ordinator, Staff club joint secretary, Autonomous examination committee member and presented papers and participated more than 23 National and State level Conference and Seminar. He guided 16 M.Phil Scholars, 12 MBA Candidates in Annamalai University and 3 candidates in TNOU.
Theivanai Ammal College for Women aims to eradicate the non-literacy among the rural women. Eradication of non- literacy is intended to ensure that the rural women are provided with the essential facilities, like quality education and leadership commitment. This provision of information is to embrace timely empowering rural women especially as a popular saying that “You educate a woman; You educate a generation”. This vision is for them to strengthen their literacy skills through a continuing Education programme and come together in a collective formation and get entitlements. "We educate women because they are the real architects of society".
