About the Department
The department was established in 1994 and grew into PG department with M.Sc Bioinformatics in 2009 and M.Sc.Bio-Chemistry in 2015 to impart quality education in the field of Life Science. The curriculum is designed to encompass latest advancements and updates in the field. It offers add on courses in Medical lab technology and Medical coding in tie up with reputed hospital and institution to facilitate clinical jobs. The department conducts Invited lecture through video conference, encourages students to undergo Summer Internship programme, Experiential learning and Industrial visit for practical exposure.
